Helle Polaris Compact Outdoor Knife with Leather Sheath

The Helle Polaris Fixed Blade Knife is a compact but solid multipurpose full-tang outdoor knife named for the North Star. The Polaris is a smaller version of the bestselling Helle Nord and Nordlys knives, but still features a robust stainless steel blade that is 0.125 inches thick.

The Polaris is an ideal everyday carry with the same extremely versatile and functional blade shape and elegant lines as its larger siblings. 

The full-tang construction of the Polaris blade gives this knife wonderful balance. It is hand crafted from Alleima 14C28N stainless steel and hand-sharpened to a razor-sharp Sandvik grind edge, giving this thick, strong blade a thin enough edge for any cutting or carving challenge.

The handle of this knife is made of carefully selected curly birch wood and has a small hole and a grommet hole that allows you to throw it on a carabiner or cord. The shape of the handle allows for a firm grip for fine cuts and a pommel grip for chopping.

The Polaris knife comes with a genuine leather belt sheath, which is also made by Helle in Norway. 

This beautiful, practical knife is hand made in Holmedal, Norway by Helle's highly skilled artisans in the Helle factory, which is perched on the edge of a fjord. No two Helle knives are identical, as they are handcrafted with natural materials, but they are all inspected manually after the crafting process is complete to ensure perfection.

Personalization: Up to 8 characters can be custom laser engraved on the blade of the Helle Polaris.

The Helle Norway Story
Helle knives are crafted by hand in the Helle factory, which is situated in the village of Holmedal, Norway on the edge of a beautiful fjord.
